Descriptive writing on lunar eclipse
As I trudged through the rocky, sepia hills, the xanthic lantana plants with petite but pretty flowers were turning into a dark, golden ocher-like shade. The day was still young and there was a howling gale, though the beaming atmosphere was plunging into darkness. As I peered skywards, a picture of a beaming sun slowly being engulfed by tenebrosity on a caliginous tapestry with candescent dots appeared. Just as the sky was languidly transforming into a tartarean void, a stygian moon obscured a heliotic sun, creating a rufescent auriole. I heard a couple of gasps, along with the intermittent bombilation of mosquitos. The floral, musky aroma of the lantanas along with the pulchritudinous sight put me into a state of almost-euphoric idyll. As I saw this cosmic phenomena with the juxtaposition of the sun and moon opalescing the sky, I felt amazed at the surreality of this picture. This delightful experience will always be remembered by me.
